How is the series scored?

The top 10 people in each age group for the 5K and 10K will be awarded points. The first-place finisher will receive 10 points, second will receive 9, descending to 1 point awarded to the tenth finisher. The 5K and 10K points will be recorded separately. At the end of the Winter Run Series, we will crown overall and age group victors in each race distance.

In order to qualify for Series Awards, you must compete in at least 4 of the 6 Winter Run Series events. Awards will be given to the top 3 overall finishers and the top 3 age group finishers. Overall Series winners will also be eligible for age group awards.

The age groups are 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+.

Winter Run Series points will be updated here the Thursday following the previous race.

How is the series scored?

Individual Races

At each Winter Run Series Race, awards will be presented to the Top 3 Male and Female in the 5K and 10K and the Top 3 Male & Female in each age group.

The age groups are 10 & under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+. The overall winners are included in age group awards.
